| Steorn is an Irish company, who have issued a
challenge to the scientific community by placing a large ad in the Economist July
2006 issue. A panel of scientists is now validating their permanent magnet technology, called Orbo, and a device was to be shown publicly in July 2007 in London, but alas... They also have a Developers Club, the SPDC, who are learning about this technology.
